Our needs and house rules

Tour leaders and group bookers: please tell your guests and friends these points before they arrive.

1. Pissoo Eco-Lodge is our home — a place to get to know the region's culture, nature, music and traditional food — and like your own home it has its own rules. Please do not mistake it for a garden villa, even if you book every room.
2. Hookah (qalyan) is banned everywhere in the lodge. Lighting charcoal on the gas stove for a hookah is banned too, even outside the lodge.
3. To keep the peace, speakers may not be brought into Pissoo. At certain hours the household plays local and traditional music.
4. Breakfast is served from 8:00 to 9:30.
5. When you return from the beach, rinse off the sand — which belongs to nature — outside the yard before coming in. The beach tap and shower are by the entrance.
6. The people of Bandar Rostami are warm and hospitable, and you will be dearer to them if you respect local values such as modest dress, especially for women. Please observe the village's standards at the beach; otherwise the lodge cannot provide service.
7. Villagers usually rest around 22:00. Guests may stay up as late as they like, keeping quiet and enjoying the sound of the waves.
8. Smoking of any kind in the rooms is strictly forbidden.
9. Never leave cigarette butts in the lodge or on the beach.
10. Use only the white toilet slippers in the bathrooms, nothing else.
11. Never take the toilet slippers out of the bathrooms. Slippers and water shoes are available in the shop.
12. Pissoo's service hours are 8:00 to 23:00.
13. Room check-in is at 14:00 and check-out is at 12:00 the next day.
14. Modest dress and respect for the peace of other guests are required.
15. Playing music with inappropriate lyrics in shared areas, even from a mobile phone, is strictly forbidden.
16. If you promise not to take shells and the beautiful remains of sea creatures home with you, we promise that your children or grandchildren who visit Pissoo years from now can still enjoy nature's beauty.

Suggested items to bring for personal use

• Personal bed sheet (rooms with beds already have sheets)
• Shampoo, towel and toothpaste
• Sunscreen and a hat
